A note passed to us my a random stranger who said we were awesome.

((Dear Friend,

I would like to believe that it is no simple coincidence this letter has found you here, at this exact point in your journey. Stop wherever you are and look around you. Take a deep breath and take it in for all it is, for all it can be. You are exactly where you are meant to be right now. Every experience thus far in your life has shaped and molded you into the person you are today, like a piece of malleable play dough. If you are open to the sometimes overwhelming changes that life must go through, between good encounters as well as bad, then you will forever shape shift into higher levels of awareness within your own self.
Once Play dough is left neglected, it hardens and the outside cracks, becoming cold and losing the freedom and possibility it once had to be anything. Never let the hardships and mysteries of life set you permanently in your ways. Embrace the love and hope that fills the world, because there is plenty more opportunities, but the darkness insides taunts them with the fear of the unknown. Trust in the candle that you hold within your hands. Light, no matter how small, can brighten any path. If what lies ahead seems bleak, trust yourself and focus on what is right in front of you. Your light will show you the way to where you need to be. Are you familiar with Buddha’s words “what you think you become?” Whether or not you call it the law of attraction, self fulfilling prophecies or even just optimism, one cannot deny the powerful way our thoughts noticeably affect our entire world.
The beauty and challenge of any path is the desire to forever be advancing towards the entity we ultimately want to be. Are you that person now? Are you propelling yourself ahead towards a fulfilling future of doing what truly makes you happy? All the while, do you take the time to appreciate the here and now? On a good day, it’s easy to remember to be thankful for all the things that made it so good. On a bad day, month, year, we often lose our way and forget to the same thing; be thankful for all the reasons why life itself can be so good. If there were no bad days would we even recognize the good days for the blessings they are? Accept life and all it’s ironic dualities. Most of the time it seems that the more difficult the challenge, the bigger the lesson. Learn from them and move on. When you’re stuck in the rain don’t forget to learn how to dance in it. If the sun never rested behind the clouds the appreciation for the sun would be lost. Without an equal balance of both there is never growth.
This is not a corporation. This is not a sales pitch. This is simply a reminder from one average human being to another that it is never to late to change the road you’re on. Be the change and you will start to see the change.

Stay forever growing, forever learning, forever changing, and forever being present.
